DashX Documentation

Everything you need to know to automate your repetitive tasks with DashX. Whether you're building flows yourself or hiring a developer, this guide covers it all.

New to DashX? Start with the Overview below, then follow the topics in order. Each section builds on the previous one.

What is DashX?

DashX is an AI-powered automation platform that eliminates repetitive manual data entry. It extracts data from documents (images, PDFs, spreadsheets) using AI, and then automatically types that data into any Windows desktop application — Tally, Marg, SAP, Excel, or anything else.

If you have a task where you're manually typing the same kind of information from documents into software, over and over again — DashX automates it.

How DashX Works (3 Steps)

  1. Extract Data — Upload your documents (invoices, bills, forms) to DashX. The AI extracts structured data into rows and columns — like a spreadsheet.
  2. Build a Flow — Create an automation recipe (called a "Flow") that tells DashX how to type that data into your desktop software. You can build it manually, or record yourself doing it.
  3. Run It — DashX reads the extracted data row by row, and automatically types each value into your software — exactly as a human would, but faster and error-free.

Who is DashX for?

Anyone who has a repetitive task they're doing manually. Whether it's entering invoices into accounting software, filling government forms, copying data between applications, or any task where you're repeatedly typing the same kind of information from documents into a desktop app — DashX automates it.

You don't need to be technical. You build a Flow once (or hire someone to build it), and DashX does the repetitive work for you.
